ABOUT HEARTHLINE

Home-energy decisions, made easier to question.

Illustrated British home showing insulation, solar and low-carbon heating as one connected plan

Why Hearthline exists

Insulation, solar, batteries and heat pumps are often sold as separate products. In a real home they affect one another, and an early mistake can make later work more expensive or less effective. Hearthline was created to help people see that whole-home sequence, expose assumptions inside quotes and arrive at professional conversations better prepared.

Who operates it

Hearthline is operated by Jordan Kraev, a UK sole trader trading as Kraev and Co, from 67 Liberty Street, London, SW9 0EF. The operator is responsible for the website, its digital products and its editorial controls. Questions, corrections and support requests can be sent to support@hearthline.co.uk.

What independence means here

01

No paid rankings

A commercial relationship does not change the planner result, article conclusion or order of recommended measures.

02

Sources before claims

Time-sensitive claims are checked against named UK primary sources and carry a review date.

03

Your decision stays yours

Tools show assumptions, gaps and stop conditions. They do not claim to approve a design or choose an installer for you.

How the service is funded

Most Hearthline tools and guides are free. The service is funded through optional products created by Hearthline and may also earn referral fees from clearly labelled partner links. Commercial configuration is kept separate from the recommendation logic. Read the full commercial disclosure.

Standards and corrections

The editorial policy explains sourcing, review dates, assisted drafting and corrections. The methodology explains calculations, ranges and limitations. If something looks wrong or out of date, email support with the page address and the evidence you think should be considered.
