1. The product
The Hearthline Solar & Battery Quote Pack is a digital download for UK homeowners. It contains the Excel workbook, PDF guide, free reference check, README and personal household licence described on the product page. It is built and tested for Microsoft Excel. Other spreadsheet applications may produce different formulas, validation, charts or layouts.
2. Price and payment
The price is £19 GBP as a one-off payment. Hearthline does not currently charge a subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe. The checkout shows the final amount before payment. The seller is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and no VAT invoice is issued. This wording will be reviewed if the seller’s VAT status changes.
3. Immediate digital delivery and cancellation
At checkout you expressly request immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that your 14-day cancellation right ends once access to the download begins. If you do not want immediate supply, do not complete the purchase. This does not affect statutory rights when digital content is faulty, materially not as described or not supplied with reasonable care.
4. Download access and updates
After Stripe confirms payment, Hearthline provides a private download page and emails a signed access link to the checkout address. Keep that email. The link is intended for the purchaser and must not be shared. The purchase includes access to future version 1.x file updates, but not separate future products, major version 2.x products or professional licences.
5. Refunds and technical problems
A change-of-mind refund is not normally available after immediate digital access has begun with your consent. Hearthline will investigate duplicate payments, failed delivery, corrupted files and content that is faulty or materially different from the description. Depending on the problem, the remedy may be a replacement download, correction, price reduction or refund. Contact support before opening a payment dispute so the issue can be investigated promptly. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
6. Personal household licence
The purchase grants one named customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the blank files for one household’s own solar and battery project. Completed extracts may be shared with installers or advisers working on that project. Blank files may not be redistributed, published, uploaded, resold or used for client work. Professional use requires a separate licence.
7. What the pack does not provide
The pack is general educational planning material. It is not engineering, structural, electrical, legal, tax, investment or financial advice. It does not verify an installer, design, quotation, product, certification, tariff or expected saving. Customers remain responsible for professional checks and their final purchase decision.
8. Availability and responsibility
Hearthline will take reasonable care to keep paid downloads available and correct technical faults. It cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet access or compatibility with software not listed on the product page. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Privacy and records
Stripe processes payment information. Hearthline receives the order name, email, billing country, payment status and product details needed for delivery, support, fraud prevention, refunds and accounting. See the privacy notice for retention and data-rights information.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the applicable law of the United Kingdom jurisdiction in which the sole trader is established, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available to the customer. Contact support@hearthline.co.uk with an order question.
